This past summer, we (the interns at Love Advertising)
were tasked to target Gen Z with a hiring campaign for
the YMCA of Greater Houston to launch in 2025.
We came up with three different campaigns.

The Y has served as a cornerstone for community
engagement and improvement since its founding over a
century ago, and we want to pass the torch to the
next generation of community builders… because
where there’s a will, there’s the Y.

The Y is well-known to play a pivotal role in providing
the essentials that aren’t always there for everyone
within our communities, but they’re also experts at
providing young adults with the essential toolkit
to launch successfully into their careers.

The Y of Greater Houston has managed to touch the lives of Houstonians in more ways than one, through providing essential resources and bringing the community together for over a century since its founding. We want to say thank you with A Word to the Y and delve deeper into how the Y has transformed the lives of those in the community, and how they can continue to do the same for you.

Our team proposed that YMCA of Greater Houston launch
a “Career Connect” Tour, a mobile outreach initiative that
travels around Houston to visit high schools, colleges, and
community centers to highlight the hiring campaign
and encourage applicants to apply.
